So as today is my Dad’s birthday and Just Push Play Festival was founded in his memory raising funds for the incredible St Nicholas Hospice Care I thought it was the perfect moment to announce a few exciting updates for next year’s incredible event !

Joining our headliners Black Spiders, as well as Blue Nation, Circus 66 and Takeaway Thieves on Saturday, August 3rd, as Just Push Play returns to The ApexFirst off joining the line up we have the incredible The Damn Truth since first hearing their single ‘This is Who We Are Now’ when they sent it into my radio show. I absolutely fell in love with these guys, and having seen them several times up and down the country that has definitely cemented them as one of my favourite bands out there so to have them on the bill is a real pleasure. “We are absolutely thrilled to be a part of Just Push Play this year! Ever since meeting Lee, he has become a pillar of our UK community and it is an honour to take part in what will be an incredibly memorable night at the Apex! Also joining the bill is the brilliant Rebecca Downes, one of the finest performers I’ve ever seen live, she is simply outstanding. From the moment I saw her perform for the first time I wanted Rebecca on the Just Push Play stage so to have this now come to fruition I’m absolutely over the moon and can’t wait to see her bring the Rebecca Downes experience we all know and love to the apex. “I am very excited to be part of the Just Push Play Festival in 2024. It’s an amazing event, in support of a very important cause, in a superb venue and I am really looking forward to it. And after an outstanding performance at last year’s debut Friday Night Shindig the incredible Loz Campbell will be returning this time to the main stage to take it by storm. With new music in the works and with her incredible live performances exciting audiences all over the country this is going to be a set not to miss ! “We had such a good time at Just Push Play 2023 we’re coming back for more and this time on the main stage! We have been very fortunate over the years with the amount of support from the generous businesses that allow us to continue putting on this show and raising funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care, one of which we’ve received incredible support from over the years is Blackstar Amplification and I’m very proud to say not only are they returning this year. But we have upped our collaboration and they are now our ‘In Association With’ Sponsor which is simply fantastic and I really cannot thank them enough for their fantasy support since we moved the show to The Apex in 2018, without support like this the show simply doesn’t happen

Speaking of great supporters the fantastic Renaissance Stoves have also returned to sponsor the event. They have been involved heavily with the show these last few years, and they’ve become very good friends. So it is wonderful to have their support like Blackstar Amplification I really can’t thank them enough

First band announcement for Just Push Play 2024 Lineup Revealed! Ladies and gentlemen, mark your calendars and get ready for night of incredible live music on Saturday, August 3rd, as Just Push Play returns to The Apex raising funds for the fantastic cause that is St Nicholas Hospice Care! The legendary Black Spiders are headlining this year’s line-up and I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that these guys will be gracing the Just Push Play stage. I’ve seen them live several times over the years and they are without doubt one of the finest live bands out there so to have them headline next year’s show is going to be incredible! Pete from Black Spiders says: “It’s an honour to be asked to headline the Just Push Play festival in 2024. It’s an amazing event to be involved with, and we can’t wait to melt some faces, all in the name of such a great cause. And, what an exciting lineup. This looks like it’s going to be something special.”

After last year’s storming set I had literally hundreds of messages comments and emails calling for their return so I’ve heard your cries for more, and we’re giving you just that, the incredible Blue Nation are returning to set the stage ablaze once again! After a jaw-dropping debut set last year I’m delighted to have them back and Blue Nation themselves are just as excited as we are: “Returning to the Just Push Play Festival is such an honour. We had so many stand-out moments from the set, and we can’t wait to get back on that stage!”

Also the mighty Circus 66 will be making their Just Push Play debut, having first seen these guys take to the Crazy Cowboy stage many years ago, they’re a band I’ve wanted to work with for a while now and I’m so thrilled that our diaries have aligned and we can have them take the Just Push Play stage by storm, Circus 66 can’t wait either: “Circus 66 are delighted to be invited to perform at Just Push Play Festival. Lee has become a close friend of ours over the years, showing us incredible support and love for the band. We jumped at the opportunity to work with Lee for a cause all too close to our hearts. We’re excited to showcase new music from our second studio album for you… Bury St Edmunds, we’re coming for you… “

And last but absolutely no means least I’m proud to announce that the brilliant Takeaway Thieves will also be taking to the Just Push Play Stage, as they make their Just Push Play debut! Anyone who’s seen the guys live will know what incredible band they are and their debut album ‘9’ was an absolute highlight release for me of 2021, with new material being worked on I can’t wait to hear these songs on the Just Push Play stage, and like me and I’m sure all of you, the guys can’t wait: “We are very excited to be bringing our Rock Show to ‘Just Push Play’ in 2024… All the hard work Lee and his team do to put together a great Festival, it’s an honour for TT to be invited, and it’s all for a great cause… Let’s bring the party and raise some money!”
